This is a Linear Barcode Image Generator for the Mac platform. There are many applications where one could use a barcode label usefully. This application is compatible with the OS X version 10.5 and later. This application makes it simple to create barcode labels and paste them into Mac based applications. It will be useful to work with this tool in applications like the Photoshop, CorelDraw, GIMP, Quark and Publisher. Linear codes supported by the tool include popular ones like the Code 128, GS1-128, Code 39, Telepen, Interleaved 2 of 5, MSI, USPS Intelligent Mail, Postnet, Planet, UPC and EAN. When you start a trial, it would be prudent to check that the tool supports the codes for which you have reading equipment. The application has an interface that helps design barcodes for novice as well experienced users.

The controls are all grouped under tabs. The controls that are related to a particular function are under one tab. The tabs are named as barcode properties, image properties, text & color properties and caption properties. These settings and properties of the barcode help manage all the attributes of the barcode labels. For example the barcode type, image type, size, data encoded and save location can be set up. A preview area shows the changes being made in real-time and thus, you are sure if you made a mistake during the process. It will let you enable image auto sizing and flexible sizing options such as setting the x-dimension, barcode height, DPI and orientation angle. This is a very good tool to have around when you need barcodes to be designed.
